Learning
At our school, we teach the NSW curriculum and offer many different subjects to support each student’s learning. We know that development of skills in literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning and for everyday life. Our teachers use effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their goals.
Why choose us for your child’s learning?
Strong foundations
We focus on the skills your child needs to succeed from preschool through Year 6, within a supportive learning environment that prioritises wellbeing, literacy, and numeracy. This approach helps them feel confident and prepared for school and beyond.
High-quality education
We offer a range of subjects aligned with syllabuses that focus on essential knowledge and skills in the early and middle years. Our skilled teachers set high expectations, use explicit teaching methods, provide regular feedback, and adapt learning to meet students’ individual needs, supporting each student to discover their passions, do their best, and achieve success.
Inclusive and personalised learning
Our teachers tailor their teaching to suit your child’s needs, interests, and learning pace, while fostering an environment of diversity, equity, trust, and respect. We ensure every student feels confident, supported, and valued in their learning journey.
Extension opportunities
We recognise each student’s unique skills and potential, providing high-quality education to help all students grow and excel. Through High Potential Gifted Education, expert teacher support, and understanding your child, we offer opportunities to maximise their potential.
What students learn
Students learn a wide range of subjects in the NSW curriculum. They build skills, think creatively and prepare for life beyond school.

At our school, we give the right support to help gifted learners to grow and do their best.
We notice these students early. They may learn quickly or show strong skills in creativity, leadership, problem solving or sport. We help them stay challenged with lessons and activities that match their strengths.

Our learning approach
Our school uses explicit teaching, clearly explaining to students what they are learning, why it is important, and how to do it step by step. This approach breaks new ideas into smaller parts, helping students understand and engage fully in their learning.
Learning at our school is student-centred, inclusive, and practical, with a strong emphasis on student participation and engagement. We maintain consistent routines to support a positive and productive learning environment. Committed to equity and access, we support all learning styles and needs. Our teachers use proven teaching strategies and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best teaching practices.
Our learning approach includes:
