NAIDOC Day Celebrations

At CPS, we proudly honour and celebrate the rich cultural heritage and enduring connection of the Galibal people and the Bundjalung Nation, the traditional custodians of the land where our school is located. Our NAIDOC celebrations provide an important opportunity for students, staff, and the wider community to come together in recognition of the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Through a range of engaging activities, stories, art, and respectful learning experiences, we deepen our understanding and appreciation of First Nations cultures. NAIDOC Week at CPS is a time to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and envision a future founded on respect, reconciliation, and cultural pride.

30 Years of Djanangmum Preschool Celebration

A wonderful afternoon spent celebrating three decades of Djanangmum Preschool! It was heartwarming to see past and present staff, students, and community members come together to mark this special milestone.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, it was truly special to see generations reconnect and reflect on the memories made in a place that means so much to so many families.

Here’s to many more years of laughter, learning, and little footsteps at Djanangmum!

Easter Hat Parade

Always a hoppin’ good time at our Easter Hat Parade!!

From egg-cellent Easter hats to wild and whacky crazy hair designs we've got it all! The Easter Bunny hops by to make a surprise appearance and bust out some dance moves bringing smiles all around!

Our families and carers are always welcome to celebrate with us and make our morning extra special!
