Children are eligible to enrol in Djanangmum Preschool if they turn 4 years old before July 31st of that year. Enrolments are open to all families in our local community, with priority of placement given to Aboriginal children the year before school.
How to enrol at Djanangmum Preschool
Families should call the school office to request an enrolment form and organise an orientation session. If you would like to get a head start, our enrolment form is available here. Application to enrol in a NSW public preschool (PDF 713 KB) Families are welcome to send this completed form with all supporting documents to the school email.
If more expressions of interest are received than available places, the school principal will form a placement panel to assess these.
The placement panel will offer enrolment to children according to the priorities listed in the Enrolment in public preschools procedure.
Families are encouraged to follow this link Enrolment in a public preschool to find all relevant information before enrolling.
Preschool fees
The NSW Government provides fee relief to support the enrolment of children in public preschools. Fees are not charged for preschool enrolment, attendance, waiting list applications or specialist programs.
